From 1995 until 2002, Mr. Hunt was the Assistant General Manager of Technical Support Services at the Water and Sewerage Corporation, Bahamas.

Edwin Theadore Hunt received his education at Western Junior and Western Senior, and thereafter at the Nassau Technical School, New Providence, The Bahamas. Thereafter he attended the College of Arts, Science and Technology in Jamaica, where he received a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. He then travelled to the UK and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Hartfield Polytechnic. In 1981, Mr. Hunt attained a Masters of Business Administration Degree from the University of Miami Extension School of Business in Nassau.

Upon his return to The Bahamas in 1973 from the U.K., Mr. Hunt took the post of Project Engineer at the Bahamas Electricity Corporation until 1981.

From 1981 until 1984, Mr. Hunt held the position of Manager at Bahamas Industrial Gases. Thereafter he was employed as Engineering Manager at Shell Bahamas Limited until he became President of the Engineers and Consultants Limited in 1992.
